STEVE BLANE As a Benchmark associate, Steve has been managing client relationships and learning projects since he joined the team in 2003. During this time, he has established a reputation for delivering unique, visually appealing and high quality, professional work that wows learners and stakeholders alike. He is recognized by clients for keeping his promises and delivering on time and within budget. A proud Maritimer, Steve grew up in the Halifax suburb of Cole Harbour. He attended Saint Mary's University before relocating to Toronto, via New Brunswick where he worked as a sales trainer for Xerox Canada. In Toronto, Steve attended OISE/UT and earned a Certificate in Adult Training and Development. He now co-facilitates the Instructional Design module of the program with Benchmark partner Louise Grummitt, and provides feedback on participant presentations during the Presentation Skills module. Steve and his wife live in the Annex area of Toronto. Once a diehard "car guy", Steve is a recent convert to the green movement, and commutes to the office on his bicycle as much as possible. He still uses his (fuel efficient) car to shuttle to hockey and ultimate Frisbee games. |
