ROLE LEVEL PERFORMANCE The third level of performance is the role level. It is best depicted using a framework we call the performance equation.
The performance equation shows us that performance at the role (team or individual) level is a product of several contributors. These contributors must work in concert for teams and individuals to be effective. Performance is impacted when any of these contributors is less than optimal.
