ROBIN MARTIN Robin Martin joined the Benchmark team in 2005. She is known as the "project management queen" with a penchant for developing and sticking to a rigorous project plan, and coaching members of the Benchmark team to do the same. Her ability to see the big picture while managing the details ensures her clients are thrilled with the end product. Robin completed an honours bachelor of arts at University of Guelph while working part time. After gaining some work experience, she embarked on a co-op MBA at the University of Windsor. It was during a co-op term with Xerox Canada that Robin got "switched on" to the internet, and became an e-learning specialist. During her years living and working abroad, this role evolved into a love of instructional design. While attending the Instructional Design module of the OISE/UT Certificate in Adult Training and Development, Robin met the facilitator, Louise Grummitt, also a partner of Benchmark Performance, and the rest is history. Robin grew up in southwestern Ontario in a small city called Chatham. Everybody knows one person from Chatham, and she doesn't know any of them! She lives near St Lawrence Market, which she likes to call her grocery store. Robin loves to scuba dive, knit, cook, read, watch movies, and generally just have fun. She finally sold her car, so now she rides her bike 30 miles in the snow, uphill, to get to soccer. |
