ORGANIZATION LEVEL PERFORMANCE The first level of performance is the organization level. Effectiveness at this level requires goals, design, and management that are appropriate and aligned to the needs of stakeholders and the market(s) in which the organization aims to succeed. Your organization goals should send a clear, strong message about where you're going and what's most important to you. Your organization design provides the structure for accomplishing the work that will get you to where you're going. How you manage the organization will determine the efficiency and effectiveness of that structure in accomplishing your goals. Performance at the organization level will be strong if the organization is effective in translating its inputs into desirable outputs:
