Training Design

We follow a systematic design process, from analyzing jobs, tasks and learners, through writing performance objectives, designing practice and evaluation, selecting the optimal delivery method and structuring the course.

We take a collaborative approach to design, and help busy stakeholders work as an effective team.

We maximize the input of subject matter experts and find people who know how things work and make the best use of their limited time.

We create job aids whenever possible, and get people using the job aids during training.

University of Toronto's Certificate Program in Adult Training and Development uses Benchmark's instructional design process as the basis for the Designing Instruction module.
